The Goal
The goal was to design a compelling alumni retreat that would reengage graduates 10 to 20 years post college and create meaningful connection rooted in faith, rest, and professional growth. The event needed to clearly define what success looked like, align with the pillars of family, faith, rest, and workplace, and provide a realistic, executable plan that could be implemented by the Lytle Center.
1
The Challenge
The challenge was motivating established professionals with demanding schedules to prioritize reconnection and travel. The strategy needed to balance spiritual renewal with professional value, demonstrate financial feasibility through sponsorships and tiered partnerships, and ensure that every programming decision tied back to research and audience insight. The final presentation required clarity, creativity, and operational realism in a competitive setting.

The Result
The Lytle Center praised the strategic clarity, cohesive storytelling, and professional execution of the plan. The Renewal theme carried consistently across the visual identity, promotional materials, sponsorship structure, and on site experience. Detailed personas, a realistic budget framework, defined partnership tiers, and measurable objectives positioned the event as both inspirational and operationally feasible. The final deliverable demonstrated the ability to transform research and insight into a polished, client ready event strategy.
